Jesus and Mary College library was established in 1968 along with the inception of college. The library building is located at the heart of college campus and houses two fully air conditioned large reading rooms, stack areas, reference section and e-resource centre. The college library serves as a resource centre for both printed and electronic resources. The JMC Library also provides a large collection of reference sources (for e.g., encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, yearbooks, handbooks etc.) in addition to various textbooks and other reading materials. The library has a huge collection of about 60,000 books on various subjects. The library subscribes to 67 journals, popular magazines and periodicals along with 10 newspapers. The library operates on the basis of an ‘Open Access’ system. JMC library services are fully computerized. For general rules regarding the use of the library, students are advised to refer to the Library Notice Board. JMC Library uses Troodon Software with its latest version 5.6 to automate housekeeping tasks. The library facilitates OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) software services, allowing all its users to search their required documents or books online. The college library has also been subscribed to INFLIBNET- NLIST & DULS databases for better research and academic pursuits.
