The common room is a recreational space for students in an academic institution. This shared lounge is a place where students from all disciplines can come together, interact and form strong bonds, that contributes in the building of a dynamic student body in a campus. The common room in Jesus and Mary college is located adjacent to its cafeteria and is built in a semi-open space. It is bustling with students at all times, and because of its open structure, it provides a great rehearsing space for performing arts as well.
