Along similar lines, Jesus and Mary college's Amphitheatre was also constructed in 2006. Since then, it has been an active space used for cultural activities like music, theatre in particular street plays, talks, poetry reading sessions, art and photography competitions. It also provides for an outdoor, vibrant space for various exhibitions and festivals. It encourages activities that build and promote an enriching experience for students and faculty outside its academic ambit.
